I have reached 20 percent of my goal to pay these horrible hospital bills already, thanks to the generosity of my wonderful friend. And thanks to lots of IV fluids and IV antibiotics, I am improving.If you haven’t contributed, please help me out of this terrifying and difficult situation.

I am at an international hospital in Hanoi, Vietnam, with a terrible case of food poisoning. The costs are proving to be much higher than I anticipated what with tests, iv fluids, iv antibiotics etc. along with hospitalization. Unfortunately, I have no local insurance. The hospital insists that everything must be paid up front or I will not be allowed to leave the hospital. I still do not know what the total costs will be but it is already much higher than I can pay.

They found that I had norovirus and e.coli and campylobacter, and I have never been so sick in my entire life.
