Andy’s story:
On October 1st, He was rushed to the hospital as he was having a Grand Mal seizure. He was then transferred to Regions Hospital as he need to have an MRI and Cat Scan. Later on in the afternoon we learned he had a tumor in his brain. After many different doctors coming in and speaking with Andy, our family and his girlfriend Stephanie he was discharged on Wednesday evening. Andy, was sent home with his next steps in his journey to recovery. On October 7th he underwent a functional MRI, so his doctors could gather more information about his tumor. Next we would have follow up with his neurosurgeon to review the results of the MRI and what his treatment plan would be. To start with, he will have brain surgery which will take place on October 22nd, after surgery will learn what his next steps will be.
Andy, continued to have seizures while in the hospital and after he was discharged. His seizures have subsided and he has went over a week now without having any of them…..which is a huge blessing, he is taking 2 doses daily of anti-seizure medication.
Andy, does not currently have any medical insurance, at minimum he is unable to drive or work for at least 3 months. He will need different types of therapy to assist him in returning to life as normal. All monies raised will go directly to Andy for his daily living expenses, medical bills and any on-going medications that he will need. Any donations are much appreciated, as well as prayers, well wishes and words of encouragement.
