Overcome Health Challenges and Financial Hardship

Hi everyone,

My name is Ruth Gonzalez, and I’m reaching out for help during a difficult time in my life. Over the past few years, I’ve faced numerous health challenges and financial struggles that have left me in a very vulnerable place.

In 2018, I suffered a stroke and a brain aneurysm that required surgery. While I’m so grateful to be alive, the aftermath has left me with ongoing health issues. For the past three years, I’ve been battling an undiagnosed condition that causes severe shaking, making it difficult for me to complete even basic daily tasks. Unfortunately, my condition has worsened, affecting my mobility, balance, and cognitive abilities. I now struggle with everyday activities like walking, working, and even maintaining my home.

Due to my health, I’m unable to work and rely on disability income, which barely covers my expenses. My financial situation has become overwhelming, and I’ve had to rely on food pantries to get by. I’m now at the point where I’ve started selling my belongings just to make ends meet. My credit cards are maxed out, and I’m unable to pay my bills, adding to the stress of my already challenging situation., transportation has also become a major issue for me. I was able to raise $3,500 toward purchasing a car, but I still owe $6,500 to buy it out fully. The car is essential for me to attend medical appointments, pick up necessities, and regain a sense of independence in my daily life.

I’m setting a goal to raise $6,000 to help me cover:

to fully pay off the car I need for transportation

Medical expenses and treatments for my undiagnosed condition

Daily living expenses, including food and utilities

Paying down debt to regain financial stability

I’ve always prided myself on being independent, but my health and financial struggles have made it impossible to move forward on my own. It’s difficult for me to ask for help, but I’m reaching out because I need support to get through this challenging time
