My cat, Waffle, has been struggling with urinary obstructions for a few years now and has been in and out of hospitalization since November 2024.
On January 27th, 2025, he suffered from Acute Kidney Injury and had a poor prognosis, so I was worried that I wouldn't be able to take him home. He was hospitalized for 3 or 4 days, and thankfully he fought for his life and pulled through!
Unfortunately, on February 12th, he was hospitalized again for another obstruction for the 3rd time in 4 months. Because there was a worry about his kidneys, as well as all the scarring from being repeatedly catheterized, I decided to go ahead and proceed with P U Surgery to hopefully prevent future obstructions and improve his quality of life.
The surgery was successful and he can now begin his road to healing and going back to being a normal kitty!!
As some of you may know, I am currently in school to become a CLS, and therefore unemployed. Bills have been really tight this year, and all of Waffle's hospitalizations have put a huge strain on us financially. I would really appreciate any amount of donation to help out with his medical bills!
