I was born in Spain from a Spanish father and a French mother.
The hazards of life led me to start taking airplanes when I was only 4, to visit my father in Spain or my mother in France. The airport was the only place where the three of us could be together. It became like a third home for me.
When I was 7, I discovered fighter planes in a French Air Force magazine that my grandfather owned. (He was a career military veteran). Then, fighter planes became my second passion. Their power, speed, in-flight refueling... it all impressed me.
As time passed, I kept traveling to visit my two families. I was captivated by the technical aspects of airplanes and I continued to take interest, by reading books, watching videos and documenting myself.
After a few years of reflection, my dream today is definitely to become a pilot, because airplanes are my true passion, they've always been part of me and my life.
The journey is tough, firstly from a physical and mental aptitude perspective, so that's why I keep training regularly. And secondly, from an economic point of view. I've chosen to integrate the FTEJerez school (Jerez de la Frontera, Spain), to complete an Integrated ATPL.
Two years ago, the last time I saw my grandfather before he passed away, I told him I wanted to become a pilot, and he replied: "You'll have to buckle down! ". We had a great laugh, that was the way he was. So yes, I'm ready to work very hard for it, and it doesn't scare me.
As a 20th birthday present, I was given a maiden flight, which I recently took, and which confirms me even more in my choice and my desire to make my dream come true.
I would like to thank you in advance for your help, no matter how small, it will mean a lot to me.
People often say “money can't buy happiness”, and that's partially true, but today money will make me happy to achieve my dream to become an airline pilot, thanks to all of you.
