Please help Merlin Medical fund

My name is Deanna and I have been in the Pet Care field for 30 years. I've always been an animal lover and I've always had cats. My beautiful black smoke Maine coon mix, Merlin, suddenly lost the use of his tail 2 days ago. After 2 Days in the emergency vet ER, and $1,000 spent, I was finally able to take him to my regular vet who was unavailable when he first experienced his crisis. Lab work, testing, without any real conclusions, until my vet believes that she found either a tumor or a blood clot near the base of his tail. X-rays were unable to discern what exactly is going on. He has an enlarged heart which we did not know about which could also be affecting this. We were told that he needs to have an MRI, which costs $3000- $5,000 baseline. Unfortunately, I do not have the funds to get this essential procedure done. I'm asking for help so I can at least do what I can to save my boy. Merlin is 9 years old,I've had him since he was a tiny kitten. He is one of the calmest chillest cats I have ever seen and is beloved by everyone who meets him. All the dogs that I have had stay at my house over the years have all loved him. He needs our help, and so do I. I appreciate whatever anyone can donate to help go toward getting him this MRI and possibly other medical intervention. Thank you
