On October 26th, I drove to St.Cloud to get my mother some vitamins and immune system boosters, because she wasn't feeling well, and also recovering from her 2nd knee surgery. As I was driving back, I hit ice on a bridge, spun into a 360, hit the rail, spun into a 180, and finally was able to move to the side of the road. My whole bumper came off, my license plate, fog lights, and my transmission fluid container broke. I ended up with whiplash, and the ache lasted 3 days. But, I praise God that I didn't flip over the bridge railing. He still wants me alive!
The next day I drove it to an auto body shop, and they said that the cost to fix the vehicle was well over what the car was worth. I had just got done paying off $2,000 to have it fixed a few weeks prior to the accident, so I was discouraged to know that I would've had to spend another $3,000. They said it would be better to scrap it, so that's what I did.
I always consider my vehicles ministry cars, because I've been able to travel across America to share the gospel, disciple here in MN, and go to follow-up meetings. I usually put photos on the top of my car inside, which I discovered leads to conversations about God.
Having a vehicle really is a blessing and a tool so, I'm asking for help for another ministry vehicle. I'm looking into getting an AWD, but God knows the actual details. I'm asking for you to go in prayer to God to see if one of His ways of provision is through your financial help. I believe that He placed this idea before me to ask, and I'm stepping out in faith. I believe $3,000 is what He placed on my heart to ask for, so here it is.
Thank you for reading, and praying for me. If you don't sense God directing you to help financially, would you pass this along and continue praying? May the Lord bless you in all that you do.
Burning for the Lord,
Kayla
