Zak Hania embodies kindness, thoughtfulness, and a profound sensitivity that touches all who know him. He is one of the most tender-hearted people we know. He has four precious children and a loving wife who were evacuated from Gaza to Ireland a few months ago.

However, Zak was stranded behind in Gaza alone as Israel refused to let him out under an unexplained and unappealable pretext.

His Irish-Palestinian family has been worried sick about him since, fearing for his life as Israeli airstrikes intensify on Rafah where he is stuck and an invasion of the city is imminent.

Zak's wife and friends tried everything within our power to get him out through diplomatic channels. The Irish government repeated pleas to Israel have fallen on deaf ears, leaving Zak's fate uncertain and his family consumed by anguish.

There is only one last hope left to get him out: to pay a fee of up to $12,500 to the Egyptian company "Hala" to arrange his evacuation from Gaza.

This option is unfortunately expensive and unaffordable to his family, which is why we need all the help and support we can get.

We, Zak's friends and family, decided to launch this fundraising campaign to raise the necessary money to get him out as soon as possible.
