Live your life to the fullest because you never know when it will end. My Stepfather has been diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma which is brain cancer. Most people with this disease don’t live out the year.
My Stepfather is a wonderful man and would give anyone the shirt off his back, be anywhere and do anything in his power to help family and friends. I now turn to you and ask for your help.
I am trying to bring my Stepsister and her boys (Jim’s grandsons) over from Greece so that they may spend time with him before it’s to late. This came on our family suddenly that we had no time to plan.
The flights from Greece are very expensive. They run about $1500 per person.
We need help. I am not one to ask for help but it would be horrible if my step sister and her boys didn’t have a chance to say goodbye. I never thought this would be something I should have to deal with.
Cancer affects all of us in one way or another....
This sucks beyond belief.
