This is hard for me to ask for help, but now i am asking for it.
On June 29, 2010 Richard was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer, he received this news on his 40th Birthday. It had already spread to his lymph nodes and liver.  He was immediately set up for appointments the following day for Radiation treatements which he had 1 treatment a week for 2 months and put on Chemo Therapy.  He had his first surgey here in Anchorage to rid him of cancer, which we thought he went into remission, but it had come back 6 months later, since then, he under went 2 more major surgeries and the last one he almost did not make it, but Thanks to God he pulled through that aweful day.  He had a CT scan Aug. 29th and it showed it had multiplied on his liver, so now his is faced with a new chemo therapy and liver surgery which we are not waiting to hear back from the drs.  It has been a up hill battle the whole step of the way.  Our family & our childeren have been on a roller coaster of being, Worried, Scared, Upset, I cannot even desscribe how we feel.  I have 3 boys, 20 ( he helps out as much as he can, a 16yr. old and a 9yr. old who we are having a real tough time with because he now has seperation anxiety, and feels that he needs to be with us constantly.

I really do not know how to write this letter to ask for help,  but all I can do is try my best to explain my families life and situation, it is a rough ride which seems like an eternity.  I am the only one working, my husband receives disability and Social Security which really does not amount to much.  We are behind in everything, our house payments, utility bills, vehicle payments, we have had the bank call us numerous of times to see when we can pay our home and vechiles.  Right now we are trying once again to try to get our morgage payment lowered so we can keep our home loan from going into default, they had sent us paper work to see if we would sell the house to get out of the loan.  That is our home, where my boys grew up, and to have another stress added to what we already are going through.  I can't do this to my family.
 I do not know where to go or who to ask anymore.  I started a business at home on top of my full time job to help bring extra money, it helps out but still not enough to keep us from being behind.
All I can ask for is a helping hand  any amount of money generously donated to help us out so that my kids, my husband & myself could worry less  and put our focus on what is really important, My Husband & their Dad.   
He has been a fighter since day 1 & will continue until he can rid himself of Cancer.
Please put Richard in your prayers, he really needs it in his time of need.
