Jeremy, My oldest child he’s 19, recently experienced a devastating collision that has left him with severe injuries. After undergoing surgery, he is now in the ICU, where he remains in stable condition. However, his medical journey is far from over.

Jeremy's injuries include a damaged carotid artery, a sutured pancreas, a broken left femur, a broken collarbone, a punctured lung, a detached jaw, a non-functioning kidney, and a removed spleen. It is uncertain whether he will require additional surgery in the morning, but regardless, he will need extensive medical treatment and a minimum of a full year to recover.

The collision occurred when a couple and their child made a U-turn, resulting in a broadside impact with Jeremy's vehicle. Tragically, one of Jeremy's best friends lost their life instantly, while another friend is still hospitalised with minor injuries. The third friend has been discharged.

We are reaching out to the community to start a GoFundMe campaign to support Jeremy during this challenging time. As he is only 19 years old, the financial burden of his hospital stay and medical expenses falls on his shoulders and we are still recovering from hardships with another family members recent medical diagnosis we cannot afford to cover everything. Additionally, the long recovery period will prevent him from working and being able to cover his living expenses.
