On July 3rd, 2025, Ashley received a life-changing phone call from her OBGYN: the results from her uterine biopsy revealed cancer—endometrial adenocarcinoma, stage 4B, FIGO grade 3. It was a devastating and rare diagnosis for someone her age, especially given how aggressive the cancer is.

Ashley’s symptoms began just a few months earlier, in March 2025, with the sudden onset of abnormal and severe bleeding, including the discharge of large blood clots. It was the first and only major symptom. Concerned, she sought medical attention and began a series of appointments that spanned several months.

During that time, doctors discovered her thyroid was not functioning properly and flagged other concerning results. These findings led to a referral to a gynecologist. On July 2nd, Ashley underwent a uterine biopsy, and just one day later, the heartbreaking diagnosis was confirmed.

The next several weeks were filled with medical testing—CT scans, PET scans, and numerous blood draws—to determine the full extent of the disease. The imaging showed that the cancer had already spread beyond the uterus to her omentum, a protective layer in the abdominal cavity. This confirmed the stage 4B classification.

Ashley began having phone consultations with a cancer specialist in Billings, Montana, to develop the best treatment plan for her complex and aggressive condition.

On July 18th, she met with her oncologist to discuss a treatment plan. Due to the risks involved, surgery was ruled out initially, and they decided to begin with chemotherapy. The plan includes 6 rounds of chemo in 3-week cycles.

A chemo port was placed on July 24th, and she began her first round of treatment on August 1st. As of now, she has completed 4 out of 6 treatments.

Once the initial chemotherapy is finished in November, she’ll undergo new scans, followed by a hysterectomy, another cycle of chemotherapy, and then radiation.

From diagnosis through treatment and recovery, she’ll be out of work for at least a year. We're raising funds to help cover her health insurance, so she can continue receiving life-saving treatments. Your support will also help with monthly bills, rent, and other essentials during this incredibly difficult time.

Any amount helps—and if you can’t donate, please consider sharing this with others.

Thank you for standing with her in this fight.
