Hi, my name is Maddie, and I created this GoFundMe on behalf of my sister Delanie, her husband Trevor, and their family.
Over the MLK weekend, Delanie and Trevor took their family camping in the desert to go dirt bike riding, one of Trevor’s favorite things!
The weekend quickly turned and we are continually reminded that God’s plans are greater than our own.
On Saturday morning, Trevor was out on a ride when he was involved in a serious accident. He was thrown approximately 20 feet from his dirt bike and sustained multiple severe injuries, including:
• Broken back
- Anterior wedge compression fractures at T7 and T8.
- T7 spinous process fracture.
- Minimal compression deformities at T3-T5 as well as T10.
- Minimal central disc bulge at L3-L4 and L4-L5.
• Right scapula fracture
• 4 Rib fractures: right first, second and third. left ninth rib fracture.
• Tiny right pneumothorax
Trevor was airlifted by helicopter to Arrowhead Regional Trauma Center. By God’s grace, doctors expect a full recovery. We are incredibly grateful that he was released from the hospital on January 20th! We are incredibly thankful for God’s protection and mercy, and we continue to trust Him as Trevor begins a long and challenging road of healing.
A little about Delanie and Trevor:
• They are high school sweethearts who have been together since they were 16 and married for 10½ years
• They have three amazing children: Natalie (6), Brody (almost 4), and Travis (3 months)
• Trevor is a self-employed contractor who specializes in kitchens, bathrooms, and home additions
While Trevor’s prognosis is good, he will be unable to work for an estimated six months as he recovers. During this time, Delanie will be focused on caring for Trevor and their three young children.
They are leaning fully on the Lord during this season and trusting Him for provision, healing, and strength day by day. Any donation—no matter the amount—will help cover living and medical expenses and ease the burden during this recovery. If you’re unable to donate, prayers and sharing this page are deeply appreciated and just as meaningful.
Thank you for your love, outreach, generosity, and prayers. The family is incredibly grateful for the way God is already working through the support of their community.
