Hi, my name is Alfie, and I’m a film student currently producing my final short film for college with a group of friends! 

Our film tells the story of a close-knit group of friends who begin to fracture when one of them hides a dangerous secret—forcing them to confront loyalty, silence, and the cost of not asking for help.

At its core, this film is about something many people experience but rarely talk about: struggling in silence. We want to highlight how the people closest to us can be going through something serious without us even realising and how important it is to speak up and check in on each other.

The film is called 'Don't Leave' and is a drama, inspired by hits like Beautiful Boy and Basketball Diaries.

This project means a huge amount to me and my team, especially my co-writer and assistant director, Caitlin Meekin, and the actors Charles Sharrock and Erin Watson. As well as act in it, we have to write it, produce it, market it and direct it. We also have to raise money towards the project as part of the assignment. We’ve poured so much time, effort, and care into developing this story, and our goal is to submit the finished film to festivals as our first step into the industry after graduating.

All funds raised will go directly into the production—helping us secure filming locations, access essential equipment (such as lenses and lighting), and properly support our talented cast by covering their travel and time.

We begin filming in a month, so we're aiming to hit a few goals before then.
