At the request of my daughter, Kelsey, and the Jacobs Family in honoring Mark Morris:

On 28 October 2022, Mark Morris was the victim of a tragic hit-and-run accident at an apartment complex in Fayetteville, NC. He was transported to Cape Fear Valley Hospital where he was unable to survive the extensive injuries and pressure to his brain. Mark was removed from life support on 31 October 2022, after his immediate family and close friends were permitted to say goodbye.

While Mark was a born-again Christian and an organ donor, his family is left with unexpected medical and burial expenses. We are asking members of our community to consider providing a financial contribution to help ease the newly incurred burden. Additionally, we ask for your prayers for his wife Jenny, their children, extended family, and close friends.

Funeral arrangements and a Celebration of Life will be announced following the outcome of the ongoing investigation.
