Dyslexia Summer Camp
Donation protected
You don’t realize how difficult this really is until you consider it yourself. Hope has been accepted to the Dii summer camp this year. Most of you know that Hope has some minor medical issues as well as a learning disability. Despite an IEP and two years of kindergarten with amazing supports and a tutor, Hope continues to struggle with her education. The dyslexia Institute of Indiana has graciously awarded us a grant to cover half her tuition for the summer of 2019. This camp could potentially help Hope with the skills and confidence she needs to succeed as she moves into middle school next year. We got a late start with the application and acceptance process which has left us with only 3 months to pay the remaining $1750 owed by June 1st for her attendance. We are capable of making a portion of these 3 payments but will fall short.
I am not too prideful to put aside my self-image to advocate for the needs of my child.
We will be greatful for any help and/or prayers as we navaigate this challenge.
Tbank you all!
