I am trying to raise funds for my son who has serve dyslexia to go to a school in hervey bay to learn how to cope and differnet ways of learning with this disability.
My son jayden kennedy has serve dyslexia. He is 11 years old and has struggled at school all these years . Dyslexia is not government funded or noticed as a disability. So it is very hard for me and my family to be able to afford him the help that he needs. The $4000 is to go to a workshop in hervey bay for a week for jayden to learn different ways of learning and coping with life with dyslexia. It affects all areas of his life not just school. Unfortunately alot of teachers have just placed him in the naughty category when in fact he hs actually been struggling with the fact he doesnt know what is really going on in the classroom. He is such a lovely boy who is great at art and loves nature. He deserves the same right as other kids to be able to learn they way that he knows how not they way the school curriculum says is the right way.
Please help my beautiful boy achive this goal to hope him and us help him get through life as easily as possible and learn the skills he needs to learn to cope with his dyslexia.
