Dyslexia and Success

Join me in my mission to ensure EVERY child with dyslexia has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

By giving a copy of Dyslexia and Success: The Winning Formulas to every state secondary school, sixth form college and young offenders institutions in the UK, you will be helping to achieve this aim!

Written to benefit those who need it most, including people who have dyslexia, and people supporting those with dyslexia, including teachers, parents and guardians.

As the Author of this book, I understand dyslexia from Every Angle: Personal, Parent and Teacher.

With over 25 years teaching experience, I am a Music and Dyslexia teaching specialist, a parent of 2 grown up children with dyslexia and have dyslexia myself.

The book has been carefully designed and presented in a Dyslexia friendly format, following the British Dyslexia Association style guide, wherever possible.
With over 10% of the population having dyslexia, there is not enough funding in schools to help those that need it most. This means that thousands of children with dyslexia are left struggling in the current education system.

The book features 20 A-List Celebrities and highly regarded Role Models, from a broad range of careers, and all who have dyslexia. They share their Winning Formulas to Success and show what is possible when you focus on your talents and get support to help with any difficulties. Following on from the inspiring stories are Action Plans and Top Tips for students, teachers and parents. These have been formed from years of extensive research with teachers, learning support specialists and students with dyslexia. The Winning Formulas have been supported by neuroscience research, provided by Dr.Anna Pitt of Oxford University. The book has a clear and simple message:

Support both children’s strengths and difficulties - the results are AMAZING!

Providing just 1 copy to each school, college and young offenders institution, will allow all the people that need the book the most, access to the information that they so desperately need.

Thank you to everyone who is helping to raise dyslexia awareness, and giving children with dyslexia the confidence to explore all the opportunities that are now available to them, to ensure a brighter future.

As Tom Pellereau, Inventor and Winner of the BBC’s ‘The Apprentice’ has said in the book:

“In tomorrow’s world, creativity and attitude will be the key to success. These are areas that dyslexics can excel at and I believe there has never been a better time to be dyslexic."
