Help Dyna’s Heart Keep Beating Strong
Meet Dyna, our beautiful, spirited 3-month-old Alaskan Malamute mix. From the moment she came into our lives, she became our world—our little shadow, our source of endless joy, and the protector of our hearts. But now, she needs her heart protected.
Dyna has been diagnosed with severe pulmonic stenosis, a congenital heart defect that causes a dangerous narrowing of her pulmonary valve. This condition has led to a Grade 5/6 heart murmur, meaning her heart is working much harder than it should. Without intervention, she is at risk for heart failure or sudden collapse.
Because Dyna’s case is severe, our cardiologist recommends surgery within the next three months, if not sooner. She is tentatively scheduled for the end of April or beginning of May at the University of Florida’s Small Animal Hospital for a Balloon Valvuloplasty. With this procedure, her prognosis is good, and she can go on to live a long, happy life by our side.
The estimated cost, including hospitalization and monitoring, is $4,500 to $5,700. We are saving every penny we can, but we can’t do this alone.
Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward giving Dyna the future and procedure she deserves. If you’re unable to contribute, sharing her story means everything to us. Thank you for helping us fight for our baby’s heart—so she can keep loving, playing, and protecting ours.
With all our love and gratitude,
