Hi, my name is Denika, and I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my close friend and sister, who is going through an unimaginable tragedy. On Sunday night, her 15-year-old son, Kenneth Smith, was tragically taken from us due to senseless gun violence.

Kenneth was a good kid — full of life, respectful, and loved by many. He had dreams, a bright future ahead, and a heart that touched everyone around him. His life was cut far too short, and now his family is left not only grieving, but facing the heartbreaking responsibility of planning a funeral for their baby.
