Dylan’s urgent MPFL knee reconstruction

My name is Dylan Davies and I currently play for Scholars at TNS(the new saints) whilst going to college in Oswestry studying a sports science degree.

 

I am 17 years old and have been playing football and sports most of my life. It’s what I have come to love and enjoy. Football is my passion and pretty much the main thing I enjoy doing and I couldn’t see myself doing anything else.

 

Unfortunately I have had an ongoing injury from a young age which has meant me missing out on a lot of  things with friends and family as well as football training and games , unfortunately over this past year it has got severely worse, I have been injured most of this season and have been unable to play in my first year as a scholar as well as missing out on  events with family and friends.

 

I’ve been told by doctors that as I’m now fully grown and the injury is gradually becoming worse, I will need an operation on both knees in order to get back to playing football and back college to carry on with my course , to prevent future issues like arthritis for example.

 

I’m raising funds towards the cost of my private knee surgery as the waiting list of NHS wan incredibly long waiting list .The surgeries will cost around £10300 combined but anything raised will help go towards it.

 

Any kind of help and donations to get my knees right, and getting me back to my college course to continue my education and football as soon as possible would be greatly appreciated and help me through this difficult time.
