Dylan's wheelchair hasn't got the rise and fall mechanism as the NHS will not fund it!

As a community this is a common yet very frustrating fight! One I am not going to win, so I'm going to have to self fund this...

We will be making 2026 the year we raise the funds to get our boy this money and the much deserved independence!! Anybody got any fund raising ideas drop me a comment/message :)

Here are just some of the benefits to it...

• useful tool for people with limited arm mobility, and also aids in the reduction and prevention of strain injuries.

• Transfers from wheelchairs to other surfaces, such as beds and chairs, are much easier with the aid of an elevation system

• significant reduction in the need for home and workplace adaptations, saving users money and space

• raise a wheelchair to the eye level of other people in a social setting can have a marked improvement on a wheelchair user’s self confidence and social skills.

• reduce the risk of neck and back strain

• can be seen when crossing the road
