Hi everyone. For those who know me, you know I usually try to shoulder my burdens quietly and figure things out on my own. You know that I am open with my healing journey, and right now I'm in a mental crisis. I have hit a physical and financial wall and am asking my community for financial help in recovering. Many of you have offered to help, and here is where I can use it while I navigate living in poverty with bipolar disorder.

What happened: Over the last few years, a perfect storm of job loss, mental health setbacks, expensive medical procedures, and financial emergencies wiped out my savings, pushing me out of San Diego, away from my daughter, and into crushing debt. I am currently working as much as my body will allow, but the math is unsustainable, causing dramatic declines in my mental health. I can’t survive working my two jobs unless I drop out of my Counseling Psychology Master’s program to make up the time. I am asking for your help to cover a fourth hip surgery, clear my survival debt, and allow me to stay in my Master’s program while I navigate this chapter of poverty.
