Support The Dylan & Bella Show A New Original Play in NYC

The Dylan & Bella Show premiered at The NuBox Theatre in New York City in September 2025. After that it was accepted to participate in Summerfest by The New York Theatre Festival in May, followed by a short run at The Tank Theatre. After months of collaboration, rehearsals, and self funding, this original production came to life with the help of an incredible team and we are just getting started.

As we plan for future performances, festival submissions, and continued development, we are raising funds to help sustain and grow the project. Producing in New York City is expensive, and we also want to make sure our cast is properly paid. Your support helps independent theatre thrive and ensures that every artist involved is compensated for their work.

About the Show

The Dylan & Bella Show is a bold new play set in the world of 1980s television. Dylan and Bella, a Latin couple, dream of hosting their own live variety show filled with comedy sketches, musical numbers, and dance routines. Blending Mexican and American pop culture, the show begins as a joyful, high energy ride through performance and ambition.

But when Bella is treated differently by the media and uncovers abuse of power behind the scenes, their dream begins to unravel. She must decide whether to speak out, risking everything they have built, or remain silent to protect the show.

At its core, The Dylan & Bella Show explores ambition, identity, and the cost of telling the truth.

Why We Are Fundraising

Our premiere was an important milestone, but it is only the beginning. We are raising funds to pay our cast, crew, and creatives for future iterations of the project, submit to additional theatre festivals and performance opportunities, secure rehearsal space, cover technical needs such as lighting, sound, costumes, and set, and support documentation and marketing for the next phase.

This has been a community driven production from the start. Every contribution helps move the project forward while supporting emerging theatre artists in New York City.
