Dylan’s charity boxing match for Diabetes UK
On April the 7th I will be taking part in a Ultra White Collar Boxing event at Batchwood Hall.
Training for the event started on 10/02/2019 as we have 8 weeks to prepare for it.
I have chosen to raise money for Diabetes UK as this is a charity close to my heart. My Mum was diagnosed at the age of 11 with type 1 diabetes. I’ve seen the daily struggles, endless injections, countless blood tests, hospital appointments and complications she has endured for as long as I can remember.
It is estimated 3.5 million people have been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes across the UK. Type 1 diabetes is hugely overshadowed by type 2 diabetes, being an incurable disease with potentially life threatening effects. New medicine and technology is constantly being found and hopefully I can help raise some funds to support this.
Any donations are really appreciated and would mean a lot!
The person with the highest donation by 9pm on the 20th of March will get to choose my ring walk music!
