Dylan Thompson Needs Your Help!

Pro Snowboarder Dylan Thompson was injured early this season in Michigan. He came up short on a big jump and broke his back.

The injury was a burst fracture of L2 with fragments of the vertebrae severely compressing his spine (severe spinal stenosis). He was rushed into an emergency surgery because his disk was putting pressure on his spinal cord and he risked paralysis.

During the surgery the doctor glued  his L2 vertebrae back together   and had 6 titanium screws inserted - two each in L1, L2, L3 and then had titanium rods inserted to connect the vertebrae so that that portion of the lumbar spine is fused. He spent 6 days in the hospital after surgery. The screws and rods are something Dylan will have for the rest of his life.

Dylan has a long road to recovery in front of him. Extensive physical therapy is required to get him back on his board.

With well over $100,000 in medical expenses and physical therapy costs, any amount you can give will help Dylan recover and continue to pursue his dreams!
