Funeral will be held October 11, 2025 at Tetrick 3001 Peoples St, Johnson City. Service is at 1:00 pm. Receiving of friends and memorial with food from 2-4 pm.

As many of you know, Dylan Parker suffered the event of Sudden Cardiac Death and she’s not made it through. This was unexpected , unfathomable, and tragic. If you feel so led, please join me in helping to alleviate at least one stress from the family and donate toward Dylan’s funeral/medical expenses.

I'm about to write the most gut wrenching post I've ever written. Our sweet baby Dilly suffered a terrible cardiac arrest on Wednesday night. Unfortunately, now we are preparing to bring her home to Johnson City from Vanderbilt later this week. Currently, we are preparing her final gift to this world, the gift of organ donation. We think that because our Dylan was such a giving, empathetic soul, this is what she would have wanted. We are also trying to grasp the fact that even though we went to multiple doctors and medical facilities over the past year, Dylan had a heart arrhythmia...something we could have addressed. She was told by doctors "it was in her head" and she never felt her pain was validated. I just don't know how I can live knowing this.

I want to thank you all for the huge outpouring of love for Dylan Parker. If you knew her then you knew happiness. You knew love. And you knew you just wanted to be a better person being around her. As we walk this final walk with Dylan, please know our family is grieving the death of our child who died too young. Please also keep her best buddy and brother Rowan Parker in your prayers. He is also an amazing soul and hurting deeply. Arrangements will be made in the days ahead, once we've had time to settle and wrap our head around the new life infront of us...a life without Dylan.
