I'm Rolene Walker, and fundraising for my son's family. My son Dylan was diagnosed with kidney failure in July 2021. He went on disability which cut his family income in half. There were co payments on medical treatment that ran into the thousands of dollars until the paper work for Medicare finally went through. When Dylan and Jennifer ran out of funds, they put things on credit cards. In December, Dylan went to the emergency room with a sepsis infection in his blood that went to his heart, spine and lungs and he passed away on Dec. 24th.

He leaves behind his wife, Jennifer and his son DJ. Although Jennifer works full time as a teacher, she can’t afford to make high enough payments on credit cards to get out of debt. She also has to begin a graduate credential program this week to keep her new job.
