Dylan Finn half marathon

In May of 2019, my father suffered from a stroke. It was an eye-opening experience because at the age of 20, I learned what it’s like to nearly lose someone a role model of mine. Shortly after, in 2020 I had a traumatic brain injury leaving me in a non induced coma for 15 days. I have been blessed having a remarkable recovery, but both mile markers of my life definitely changed my perspective. Since not so many patients are as fortunate as my father and I, I know it’s important for me to give back to people going through similar experiences in their life. On January 20th, 2024, I will be running a half marathon in Charleston SC, and I will be raising money for sameyou.org, which is an organization for strokes and traumatic brain injury patients. Every donation, no matter how big or small, can help people going through a traumatic experience that changes the direction of not only the patient's life, but the family members too.
