Growing up, Dylan Clark was more than just a friend to many. He and his family welcomed us into their home, and we created countless cherished memories together over many years! Dylan brought adventure, joy, music and laughter to all who knew him. His sudden departure has left us with heavy hearts.
We (Emily Alati and Marigot Lustyk) are kindly asking for your support to help cover the funeral and memorial expenses for Dylan and his family through this difficult time. We can personally testify to the community wide presence and influence the Clark family has and continues to have on Honeoye Falls. From the school system, to the trails of Mendon Ponds and to the congregation of St. Paul of the Cross, the Clarks are a flagship family in this village and town. They have supported us all with their love and laughter and it is our time as a community to raise them up with love and support. Your contributions will go a long way in easing the financial burden during this difficult time and will allow their family to focus on celebrating their son and brother’s life. Thank you for your generosity and for being a part of this tribute to our beloved Dylan!
Written about Dylan from his loving family:
“Dylan was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts where he lived until his family moved to Upstate New York when he was two. After a few years in Syracuse his family moved to the Village of Honeoye Falls. He made countless memories with neighborhood friends on the back trails by the creek, in backyard swimming pools, or right out on the sidewalk skateboarding or scootering until the sun set and the street lights came on. By far his best friend was his beloved other half, his devoted older sister Chloe. He wasn't just Dylan and she wasn't just Chloe, they were one entity, Chloe & Dylan. When his younger sister Lily was born he adored her, always at the ready to be mother's helper. Nothing brought Dylan greater joy than the simple pleasures of life; friends, family, a walk in the woods, his pets...the best things. Some of his favorite times were the annual summer trips to Massachusetts to visit this Nonna and cousins spending time at Scusset Beach, visiting his Gramma & Grampa and family in South Carolina, and stopping in to visit family in Holland Patent. His passion was music and he was a talented musician who played trumpet, piano, and guitar. His favorite band was Guns N' Roses. He found great comfort in nature and enjoyed hiking, fishing, snowboarding, skateboarding, and spending time in the woods or at the beach. Dylan was known for his smile, good nature, and gentle spirit. Beloved by so many. He will be deeply missed.”
Any additional funds raised here will be sent to a wonderful organization, NAMI, in Rochester, NY.
