My fiance Dylan had a freak accident with a fire at work March 5th. He has 3rd degree burns on his hands, deep second degree burns on his face, and burns in his throat. He is now in the burn unit for a month minimum pending surgery this coming Monday on his hands. We are in the process of buying our first home. We have our 8 year old and 5 month old with us full time who cannot visit the hospital due to protocols. Our savings is being blown through quickly with hotel stays and the 5 hour round trip visits and providing items to keep him as comfortable as possible in the hospital as well as bills while he will be unable to work. We are also hoping to get his sister here from California to help with childcare and so we can be with him consistently after his surgery when he will need us the most as he will be unable to utilize his hands at all for 7-10 days.
