Update on Dylan and his surgery.....
Dylan is set to have surgery Monday January 13th in Cincinnati. Jeremy recently traveled to Cincinnati with Dylan to meet Dylan's mother so they can prep for his surgery. He will stay at the hospital for a couple of weeks. After he is released, he will need to return to Cincinnati in 4-6 weeks to start radiation therapy which will be 1-2 weeks long during the first round. Unfortunately all travel expenses have come out of pocket as Dylan lives in Colorado. Please continue to share and if you find it in your heart to donate, it would be appreciated. If you can't, please add Dylan to your prayer list as well as his parents and the doctors who will be performing the surgery.
I am sharing some difficult news regarding my cousin Jeremy and his son Dylan. Recently, Dylan was diagnosed with salivary gland cancer, a rare condition located on the roof of his mouth. The medical team has advised that he will undergo additional scans to ensure the cancer has not spread to his chest. Given the tumor's location, reconstructive surgery will be necessary.
Dylan faces a long and challenging journey ahead, and he will need all the support and prayers possible. As you may know, Dylan resides in Colorado but often visits his father in Missouri during the summer and holidays. In light of this situation, Jeremy will need to take time off work to be with Dylan throughout this difficult period.
To alleviate the financial burden during these times, I am reaching out to see if you might be willing to extend your support. Your generosity would enable Jeremy to focus entirely on caring for Dylan without the added stress of finances.
Thank you for considering this request. Your kindness means so much to our family during this challenging time.
