Dylan and Rhys' Ironman (3.86km)Swim Challenge

Dylan (Age 7) and Rhys (Age 5) live in Oman but originally from the UK. They are two ordinary boys who want to help those in need. They both attend The Royal Flight School, Oman and swim with Nautilus Swimming Club here in Muscat.
In 2017 at the age of 5, Dylan wanted to help raise money to help a poorly little girl called Jessie Stocks who was 2 years old battling with the dreadful disease of Cancer.
He raised £2000 by swimming as many lengths of a 25m pool in an hour. He swam 68 lengths equating to 1.7km.
In 2018, Dylan swam the same challenge to raise money for another poorly little boy fighting the same dreadful disease, Jack Jeffreys (Age 4) and the Children's Cancer Home in Oman, Dar Al Hanan. This time he managed to swim 100 lengths of the same pool, equating to 2.5km at just the age of 6. He raised a grand total of £4000.
This year, Dylan is being joined by his younger brother Rhys to take on a mammoth challenge of swimming an IronMan distance of 3.86km (2.4miles).
This will take place on Sunday 2nd June, 4.30pm at Nautilus Swimming Club. The boys will swim as many 25m lengths as possible to try and reach their final goal of a 152.
This year the boys would like to raise money for two special young boys in the UK who have both been through so much and deserve a break.
Alfie King is 17 years old from Middlesex, England. He is a brave young man who has had to fight Neuroblastoma 3 times in his young life, which is more than anyone should face in a lifetime. Alfie needs to raise £1000's to receive Antibody treatment which is not covered by the NHS.
Young Jax Robinson, Age 3 is from Doncaster, England. Little Jax has been suffering with various complications since he was 3 months old and diagnosed with Leukemia. He has also fought like a true hero and is currently receiving car-t cell therapy.
A donation will also be given to the Oman's Cancer Association Children's Home.
