Help Dylan and Molly after a horrific accident!

This is not a fundraiser any of us thought we would have to ever set up!

Unfortunately, Dylan Shinkwin was involved in a serious motorbike accident on the 16th of September 2023, he has sustained life changing injuries.

Dylan has suffered a broken spine and he has irreversibly severed his spinal cord, broken his nose and neck, punctured a lung as well as multiple other injuries.

He is currently in critical care at the hospital. His injuries are so significant that he is permanently paralysed from the chest down will never be able to walk again. Dylan’s girlfriend Molly, his family and Dylan himself have a long road ahead of them in terms of Dylan’s pathway to recovery.

He is understandably in shock like everyone that knows him! In fact, he is the one that’s keeping his families’ spirits up.

The main focus of Molly and his family is Dylan and helping him to come to terms with the reality of the situation.

Dylan will be in the hospital for a very long time and then will move to a spinal rehabilitation unit. This is main reason for raising funds.

The hospital that Dylan will be moved to is not close to the family or where Molly currently lives. The cost that Molly will in-cure will be massive and I know we want to support in the best we can.

To allow Molly travel, stay over and have time off of work we hope to raise £2000 to allow her to focus on Dylan and not on finances during this horrible time.

Molly is one of the strongest people I’ve ever met, suffering horrific loss in her life, and now this.

Dylan is lucky to have such a kind, caring, loving and strong lady in his life and these funds will allow them both to be together in the times ahead and during Dylan’s rehabilitation.

If there is any further information that we receive we will share it, but right now we just need to raise some funds to support Molly and Dylan. family to adjust and support Dylan in the best way possible.
