- Quality of life depends on finding or replacing my stolen WheelChair. My laptops were taken with all of my classwork on them along with my debit card and Drivers license.
- My name is Charles Maier I am 54 yrs old and a paraplegic Approximately 5 weeks ago I was transferred to the hospital by ambulance do to a severe bone infection. I am currently still in the hospital on IV Antibiotics.
- At the time of transfer my wheelchair was left behind in the backseat of my car. During the first week of being in the hospital my car was stolen along with my wheelchair still in the back seat. As well as some personal belongings.
- My car was recovered last week but my wheelchair was missing and still remains missing. This was a custom chair I had purchased just a few years ago. I am currently in the hospital without a wheelchair IBy the grace of God I have a chair being donated by a nice woman that I can use until I can purchase another one of my own. Being a paraplegic I am on SSI and cannot afford to buy one myself. I need help. I have a hard time asking for help but in this case I severely need it.
