update:: Randall left his earthly life on 3-14-25. This left Cheyann without both her parents at the age of 18. She is ending her high school career and trying to figure out what’s next. She has been blessed with an awesome aunt and uncle that is helping her. They are in process of getting insurance squared away since loosing what she had, so she can get the follow up MRIs to manage her eye tumors. Also with the mental and developmental delays she faces day in and out, there are also trying to get her disability set up. The family thanks everyone for the continued support and prayers.
Randall Staggs is 55 years old and has faced many struggles. He lost his wife in May 2015 to pneumonia. And was left to raise his daughter who has been fighting cancer. In 2017, he was diagnosed with colon cancer, and in 2018, a tumor appeared on his liver. He has had various chemo treatments in the meantime, and this past year in 2024, his scans showed spots on his liver, and they found a tumor on his brain. This has now become the primary focus. He has had 3 rounds of radiation treatment but continues to decline. He currently has tumors on his liver, lungs, spine, and brain. Randall Staggs understands that his life is coming to an end quickly. He does not have life insurance or funds set aside for funeral arrangements. Randall has been trying to hang on so he can see his 18-year-old daughter Cheyann graduate in May. Unsure if he is going to make it until May, his family set up a mock graduation with Cheyann in her cap and gown so her father could witness it and also see her in her prom dress. Cheyann has educational disabilities as well as medical disabilities, including lost vision in her left eye due to optic gliomas, and currently has a tumor on her right eye that is being monitored yearly. Randall's twin sister Pam has taken in Cheyann and will be responsible for her after Randall's passing. I set up this GoFundMe because I don't want Randall or his family to have to stress about his funeral costs, and if there is any money left over, I know it would be a blessing to Randall's sister and husband as they will be the primary caretakers for Cheyann. Would you please consider donating and helping my dear friend Randall and his family during this time?
