update. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported B through this time. Her appointment in November was rescheduled to Jan 17th so she will be hopefully getting some help in the coming weeks. Unfortunately her situation became a bit more complex after a medication injury but we are hoping for the best.

Whether you know Bobbi Jo from the women’s heart health community, chronic illness community, are a friend, acquaintance or family member- you know Bobbi Jo is a helper. She’s always been a helper. Her and her husband Rob would both give others the shirts off their backs. This time, it’s Bobbi Jo, Rob and the kids who need help. As many of you know Bobbi Jo has battled courageously for years facing uncertainty with her health, advocating for her health and all the while helping others to do the same. Bobbi-Jo’s health took a turn for the worst in 2023 and she’s not had much luck securing answers or regaining her quality of life. Neither Bobbi Jo nor Rob are the type of people who ask for help- that’s why I’m asking on their behalf.
Bobbi Jo is planning on soliciting help from outside of Alberta Health Services and therefore will be responsible for paying out of pocket. Testing alone can cost upwards of 25,000, not to mention cost for appointments/follow up, travel and accommodations. I’m hoping that together we can help this beautiful family with some of the burden so money doesn’t have to be such a worry.
