Help a Displaced Family Due to Hurricane Helene

“My family has been displaced due to the hurricane Helene. Our home had a lot of water damage, and now we have a lot of mold. We cannot live there anymore, and due to the amount of mold, the home will have to be completely gutted and rebuilt.

We want to move to Candler, NC, closer to my son’s school as his birthday is November second and are hoping to have some stability by then. We need help covering moving costs and rent where we move to. We have only one working vehicle because my car broke down recently. While my partner is tending to our two dogs and son, I am the only one working until we can get our pets situated. We are not allowed to leave the dogs unattended at the motel due to their rules.

The donations will go towards all our expenses such as storage, moving, and housing. We will be so grateful, and in the process, we are donating what we can to help others while moving. We will be donating clothing items and furniture due to the limited storage we have.”
