Dyfan Watkins Memorial

Donation protected
As most of you are aware, on January 22nd we lost the most kind, caring, father, partner, brother, son & the most sarcastic, cheeky friend Dyfan Watkins.

Dyfan absolutely adored his children and brought laughter and warmth to everyone around him & maybe a cheeky insult here and there. Male suicide is a tragedy that too often happens in silence, and beneath his humor and love for life, Dyfan carried more pain than he ever let the world see. His passing is a heartbreaking reminder that even those who seem the strongest can be fighting unseen battles.

This fundraiser has been created to support Dyfan’s beloved partner and children as they navigate life without him. The past seven months have been incredibly challenging for the family as they adjust to a world without Dyfan . Your generosity will help provide for their needs and offer the stability and care that Dyfan would have wanted for them all. Every donation, no matter the size, is a meaningful way to show love and stand beside his family during this profoundly difficult time.

If you’re unable to join us but would still like to support Dyfan’s children, donations of any size are deeply appreciated and will make a meaningful difference.

Every act of support is a reminder to his children of how deeply their dad was loved.

There will be a family fun day on Sunday, August 24th, with kickoff at 2pm at Stradey Park, featuring Llanelli Wanderers & Friends of Dyfan V Llanelli Warriors. Tickets will be £5 at the door for adults, and children enter free.

Dyfan’s story is a powerful reminder of the importance of checking in on those we love and breaking the silence around mental health.

We are so grateful to everyone who has already reached out with love, support, and kindness — it means more than words can say.

Let’s come together, share some laughs, and support Dyfan’s beloved children. Your presence means the world. ❤️

As difficult as this time has been and to write something so heartfelt I’m also laughing at the fact he would be telling me to grow up & get on with it. ( with much more colourful language )
