Laura is a kindergarten teacher and one of my dear friends and coworkers at Tarver Elementary. She is a fantastic wife to Jeff and mom to Drew, one of our Tarver students and an excellent educator, ensuring that all of her students are taken care of.  She's the kind of teacher you want your child to have because you know they will be loved just like they were her own. She has been recently diagnosed with invasive breast cancer and will start chemo soon, then radiation.
