Hi Friends,
My sister, Jeanette Faust has had a rough five years since her only son, Michael Faust, died unexpectedly. At about the same time the company where she worked for more than 40 years closed, and she was laid off without severance. She lost her car when the catalytic converter was stolen, and she didn’t have the $3,500 to replace it.
Jeanette could just manage on her Social Security until she suffered a fractured back due to osteoporosis in 2022 and some months later was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor. With significate chemo and radiation therapy, doctors are trying to reduce its size enough for her to have surgery to remove it. Since her diagnosis, her quality of life has deteriorated. She spends her days in pain with countless doctor appointments and trying to figure out how to get all the supplies and medications she needs until she can have the surgery and hopefully return to a normal life.
Jeanette is struggling to keep on top of her rent and utility bills and she needs help to keep her household expenses current—cancer and osteoporosis have been expensive. Help is needed with medication copays and paying for medical supplies that insurance does not cover. These costs are taking an increasing share of her monthly income. She has experienced rapid weight loss along with some serious dental problems while under treatment that will require dental surgery going forward. Aside from the dental problems, she needs to find a way to afford critical ENSURE supplements daily along with a nutritious and varied diet to help her gain back some weight. Any help will be welcomed to get her through this trying time.
Please share this with others,
Kathleen
