Florida Exotic Bird Sanctuary

Florida Exotic Bird Sanctuary (FEBS), a 501(c)3 non profit organization,  is expanding from its one acre location to a new five acre location in Hudson, FL, along with 600 feathered residents! As a true sanctuary, FEBS does not offer birds for sale or adoption. Our only purpose is that of a safe haven for birds to live out their lives in a happy and healthy environment. Parrots, who were formerly pets, are pouring in in great numbers, and we need your help to build the flight aviaries these wonderful birds deserve. One large flight aviary costs approx. $50,000 and we desperately need two right now. Each flight will accommodate around 60 large parrots. It will be heated in winter, with misters for cooling on hot summer days. It will be sheltered with UV roofs which allow the sunshine in, but block harmful rays to our many plucked birds.
