October of this year, Angela was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer. Angela was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast cancer 14 years ago, and had been in remission when receiving this devastating diagnosis. Angela has gone through multiple surgeries and was hospitalized for 2 weeks. Angela is a Physical Therapy Assistant and prior to the diagnosis, she was working full shifts at the clinic. Upon her release from the hospital, she is now receiving treatments and her hours have been cut in half, leaving her only able to work 24 hours per week on average. Angela has had multiple set backs due to various treatment side effects which has also decreased her hours of work.

Angela is the sole provider for her household. As a result of her hours being significantly cut, her pay has been decreased as well. As if battling these major medical issues isn't stressful enough, she shouldn't have to worry about how the bills will be paid, treatment, or even her everyday living expenses.
