Dear Friends, Family, and Animal Lovers,

I hope this message finds you well. Today, I come to you with a very heavy heart and a desperate plea for help. My beloved Tortie, my feline companion, and best friend, is currently battling a devastating illness called Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). I write to you today, not only as a loving cat mama but also as someone who believes in the power of compassion and the incredible bonds we share with our animal companions.

Tortie, a vibrant and playful two-year-old, came into my life at a time when I was broken, devastated and full of grief. Amid my ongoing battle with anxiety and depression, Tortie is an invaluable source of comfort and solace. We share a bond that transcends words and Tortie has a remarkable ability to soothe my troubled mind and ease the weight on my shoulders. Her soft kisses and warm snuggles offer a much-needed respite during my darkest moments. All this to say she has a profound impact on my mental and emotional health.

Recently our lives have been turned upside down by the cruel grip of FIP. This heartbreaking disease threatens to cut short Tortie's life and shatter our dreams of a future filled with her presence and unconditional love.

FIP is a complex and devastating viral infection that primarily affects young cats like Tortie. Despite her tender age, Tortie has shown immense courage in facing this relentless disease head-on. We have spared no expense in seeking the best possible care for her, however, the financial burden has become overwhelming. Extensive testing, specialized medications, and frequent veterinary visits have stretched our resources to the limit, leaving us with no choice but to reach out for support. We have a long road ahead with 80+ days of medication and routine bloodwork and monitoring.

Today, we humbly ask for your support to give Tortie a fighting chance against FIP. Every single donation, no matter how small, will contribute to her ongoing medical care, ensuring she receives the treatment she so desperately needs to beat this ruthless disease.
