Jason's Battle

One of the most gutt wrenching things has happened to someone I hold near and dear to my heart, my big brother, Jason Conway. One of a father and husband's biggest fears is now his daily reality... being struck by a debilitating disease that has rendered him unable to walk, stand or let alone work to support and provide for his family. Jason's symptoms of this disease started this year in February, when he started experiencing excruciating pain in his lower body and legs that resulted in him being completely debilitated. He was diagnosed with Guillain Barre syndrome. A disease which causes the immune system to attack the nerves in your body which results in tremendous pain and paralysis of the extremities, with no sure cure or clear time frame for recovery, if at all. He was admitted to the hospital for about the fifth time last week. I received word that he is being transferred to a rehab facility where he will undergo hours of physical therapy to teach him how to walk again.

We solicit everyone's prayers, but we also ask that our Facebook friends and family if they can be so kind as to stand in support of Jason and his family in this, their time of need. Any donation you find it in your heart to contribute will be a blessing to him and his family in this very difficult and trying time. With him being paralyzed in his lower body, he is still unable to work. Jason has ever mounting medical and household bills that he is unable to meet.
