About Sundeep:
Sundeep is an wonderful husband, father, son and friend, who would never hesitate to help a friend in need. He is a Peace Officer and employed with the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure and has been a member of the Ministry for four years. Sundeep lives in the Fraser Valley with his wife, Sabrina, and has 2 daughters and a young grandson.
History:
In October of 2016, Sundeep noticed a lump and was diagnosed with throat cancer. Upon diagnosis, he was told that the growth was too large to remove. Luckily Sundeep’s sister (a radiologist) knew a surgeon in Washington, DC who would look at his case. When the surgeon reviewed his case, it was decided that surgery could, in fact, be performed but, in Montreal, QC. He travelled to Montreal and had the surgery followed by chemotherapy treatment; his cancer went into remission.
Sundeep was back at a great place in life, with his remission, the birth of a grandson and back to the job he loved. In August of 2018, he felt another lump and went for an MRI, in Vancouver. Upon receiving the results, his Specialist in Montreal, told him to come immediately. Once in Montreal, it was confirmed that the cancer was to be removed and more rounds of treatment were in order. All of which, were to be done in Montreal. Being off of work, along with many travel expenses for trips to Montreal, it is taking a financial toll on Sundeep and his family.
Unfortunately, it is unknown at this time how many courses of treatment Sundeep will need in the upcoming months and years.
Please Help our Friend:
Until now, Sundeep and Sabrina have refused to accept financial assistance from friends and family however, due to the changing circumstances we want to offer financial assistance to them, with your help.
We as their friends, ask that you please support Sundeep, Sabrina and their family, as they face this difficult journey together. By raising funds for their family, we hope to ease some of their financial burden and some of the stress, caused by this ongoing challenge.
Thank you for taking the time to read Sundeep’s story. Any support for the cost of treatments, travel and accommodations would be truly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
