Dina was diagnosed with stage 2 Breast cancer. She has since then had surgery, and they were able to remove the tumor along with the infected lymph node. As a precaution, they also took 27 surrounding lymph nodes just to be safe. She must go through Chemo treatments every other week for a few months, and Radiation everyday for 6 weeks after that, because this type of cancer tends to be a bit aggresive. She started treatment last week. Unfortunatly she will lose her hair, but my prayer is that it grows back even stronger and thicker. Her daughter is handling everything pretty well, but continued prayer would be appreciated. Dina, being a single mom, has remained very positive and strong for her. The emotional, and physical strain for someone going through somthing like this can get pretty heavy and depressing. I have created this page to help lift some of the financial burden she will face, from co-pay costs, and days out of work from Chemo. No donation is too small, after all, a little bit from a lot of loved ones goes a long way. I know if we all come together, we can do BIG things.
