Update (8/7/23): Heather Nichols is doing her best considering the circumstances.. Although, this is not where her journey ends. The financial burden is still an obstacle in her ongoing journey. She still has medical bills, dental bills, and not to mention the detrimental impact this has had on her emotional and mental health. Her veneers alone are expected to cost $20k. Heather Nichols, resident of Reno Texas, was brutally attacked on June 17th. The assailant attempted to murder Heather after breaking into her apartment and torturing her for over four agonizing hours. The assailant has been caught, and is in police custody. Heather is currently in hiding for her own safety. Heather is the mother to three incredible children, has multiple family members, and too many friends to count. Unfortunately, she is going to need much more than just those things to recover from this horrific incident. Heather is going to need to be off work for the foreseeable future, and will need substantial continued medical care as well as emotional care. Unfortunately, life continues on and does not stop as she has to. Bills will continue to come in, and necessities will still need to be met.  If you are able to help, please do! It took almost an entire week to catch the monster that single handedly turned heathers entire world upside down in just one night. Now that he is taken care of, we all need to move on to the next step of helping Heather as much as we possibly can. And alleviating her financial stress would be a big step in that.
