Hurricane Ian destroyed our home

Hello, Ryan and Kristi Lybeck both work in the healthcare industry and were unable to leave the path of Hurricane Ian. 

Kristi is an RN and was at work for several days only to come back to a home destroyed. Ryan is a paramedic and was at home with their two kids during the storm. Their house took a direct hit in Port Charlotte with the three of them inside.

Everyone is safe which is the important part. Thank the lord for protecting us.

But the house is a total gut job. All of the rooms suffered water damage and collapsed ceilings due to the shingles being blown off the roof. Ryan and the kids huddled on a couch moved to a solid wall and sat all night watching the rooms collapse around them. 

Now that it is over, everyone has been asking how they can help. We are working on an insurance claim but told it will be several weeks before we receive any money and even then we know it won’t replace everything we lost. The home is a complete gut job and we could use some help getting some other housing expenses and clothing replaced, and contractor deposits before insurance kicks in.
