Help Jenn Beat Cancer
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Becky. Many of you may not know that my sister Jenn was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colorectal Cancer in November. Jenn is a single mother to Logan, 10, and Cody, 18, who will graduate from high school in June. She is intelligent, beautiful, full of life, and my best friend. Family is the most important thing in the world to her. Jenn is our beacon of sunshine. She always has a smile or laughs for everyone she meets.
Throughout her life, Jenn has participated in several charities and run fundraisers for ovarian cancer and leukemia. Helping others has always been one of her passions. Before being diagnosed in November, Jenn was a college student, determined to get her bachelor's degree at Temple University. Despite working two jobs to make ends meet, she dedicated her free time to her children and her late nights to homework and studying. However, since being diagnosed with Cancer, she has had to put her dreams of getting her bachelor's degree on hold and has had to stop working two jobs because of the side effects of the chemo treatments.
While the intensive treatment has yielded impressive results, she still has a long way to go. For the last two weeks, Jen has been hospitalized for complications from her cancer. Our family and friends have banded together to provide childcare, emotional support at home and during treatment, and meet any other needs that may arise, and we thank all of you that have helped along this journey. Unfortunately, the ordeal has taken not only an emotional strain on her and her children, but also a financial strain. No one should struggle financially while fighting to stay alive. Therefore, we are starting this Go Fund Me account with the goal of easing the financial burden so that Jen can fight her battle with one less thing to worry about. If you can not make a donation. We ask that you keep Jenn and her boys in your prayers.
